Lodging

Please don’t book the rooms through the hotel’s website.  We have discounted group rates for hotels, so call the hotel to book your room.

Mention RIDE ALLEGHENY when you book your rooms.

​

We provide your Lodging on Thursday night only. This is included in your registration fee, along with dinner on Thursday evening.

Night 1:  Pittsburgh (Homestead), PA

Riders must make room reservations at the Homestead Marriott Courtyard (401 West Waterfront Drive • West Homestead) or the Hampton Inn & Suites (301 W. Waterfront Drive) in Pittsburgh, PA.

You and your bike will be delivered to the hotel on Wednesday night and after check-in. Dinner will be your choice.  There are numerous restaurants in the area from which to choose and don’t be shy about teaming up with people for dinner.

Here’s some information on the Homestead Stacks still standing near the hotel.

Breakfast will be at the hotel the next morning before the ride – it is included in the rate at the Hampton Inn but is not included in the Homestead Marriott Courtyard rate ($10-15 dollars for breakfast buffet)

Day 1 (Thursdays) Lunch will be at the Connellsville rest stop and is included in your reservation fee.

Night Two:  Ohiopyle or Confluence PA

No reservations are necessary. You will stay in either Ohiopyle or Confluence. Riders will be assigned a location prior to the ride. A group dinner will be included at all locations.

Ohiopyle:


Breakfast will be available for purchase at Falls Market in Ohiopyle. 

At 8:00 AM, we’ll take our signature “waterfall” picture with the Ohiopyle group.

Confluence:


A group dinner will be served at the be available in Confluence.

Night 3: Cumberland, MD

Riders will need to make reservations at the Fairfield by Marriott (right off the trail) or the Ramada (a short ride into Cumberland). Dinner will be on your own. Breakfast will be at your respective hotels the next morning before the ride and may be included in the cost.

Snacks will be provided near Paw Paw tunnel, and lunch will be on your own in Hancock. Several restaurants are just off the trail, including Weavers and Potomac River BBQ for a sit-down meal or Subway for a quick stop.

Night 4: Hagerstown, MD

Riders must make room reservations at hotels near the Valley Mall in Hagerstown, about 7 miles from the trail. The Holiday Inn Express is next door to the Plaza Hotel; the other hotels are on the other side of the road, just a short trip back to the 620 for dinner.

We have arranged a buffet dinner at the Plaza Hotel (covered in ride fee) with a cash bar.

​

Sunday’s breakfast may be provided at your hotel before the ride.
